Doris Vidanya
was born on a locomotive speeding through the Carpathian Mountains in her native Galicia. She quickly realized the limitations of her native folk dancing and quaint handicrafts. After her arrival in America, she learned everything she now knows about ballet from a seminar entitled “Evil Fairies on the Periphery of the Classical Dance.”
Varfolomey Legupski
The Legupski Brothers - Marat, Polykarp, Timur, Vycheslau and Varfolomey - are not really brothers, nor are their names really Marat, Polykarp, Timur, Vycheslau and Varfolomey, nor are they real Russians, nor can they tell the difference between a pirouette and a jeté...but...well...they do move about rather nicely...and...they fit into the costumes.
