La Fetes des Fleurs a Genzano by 19th century Danish ballet master, August Bournonville, premiered in 1858 and is one of his most enduring evening long ballets.

Its lasting popularity is attributed to the rich and lively succession of dances in the ballet’s second act.

This, most famous, Pas de Deux, with its delicate balance of natural lightness and choreographic challenge, represents a true Bournonville classic.
