Paquita Pas de Trois

Music by: Ludwig Minkus
Choreography after: Marius Petipa
Costumes by: Mike Gonzales

The ballet Paquita was first choreographed by Mazillier in Paris in 1846 with music by Deldevez.

The following year Marius Petipa presented a production in St. Petersburg. He kept tinkering with the choreography and commissioned Minkus to write music for a Grand Pas and a “pas de trois” in 1881; today, only the tinkering remains.

The Trockadero is pleased to present their distinctive version of the “pas de trois.”
