On Thursday September 1st at the Ballet Hispanico studios the Trocks held a hybrid Live and Virtual Member Studio Visit during the final rehearsal before the company departed for London the following day. The dancers had been hard at work for a few weeks, getting back into tip-top shape the 8-week, 12-city UK tour (running Sep 6 – Oct 29).
Whether the intimate audience chose to attend in person or via the live-stream, they were able to get a peak behind the curtain, see a preview of the UK rep (Paquita Pas de trois and Raymonda’s Wedding), ask questions of the dancers and artistic staff, AND provide the dancers with what they have been missing during all those rehearsals to the mirror: an audience!
